MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Time Warner Cable Media currently seeks a Marketing intern for the East Region, based in New York, covering the East Region footprint.
Intern will assist Marketing & Products Director with:
The definition, prioritization, and execution of best practice marketing processes & products across research, programming, and creative packaging that fully align with target segments and opportunities.
Communications, brand, and product presentations and tools to support client development and sales across the lifecycle working closely with Marketing & Products Director.
Day-to-day support of the East Region marketing transformation to ensure heightened best practice and performance.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate has 1-2 years brand, product, integrated marketing, and/or advertising sales marketing experience.
Knowledge of cable television, digital products, and advanced advertising products and experience developing and executing successful 360 degree marketing programs preferred.
Extensive experience with Word, Excel and Power Point and similar software; HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash and FrontPage familiarity helpful.
Added knowledge of:
=> Web page designs and HTML for internet/intranet development
=> Banner advertisement creation. Familiarity with Flash application helpful.
=> Banner advertising, capturing/digitizing streaming media, image editing/graphic design, internet scripts and project management.
=> Various multimedia, graphics and web development software helpful.
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications with over arching skill to translate hypotheses and research into powerful points of view—ability to craft and tell a compelling story.
Must be able to work independently on a project basis and meet frequent deadlines.
Excellent team and project-management skills.
Demonstrate “innovative” thinking and new ideas.
